The BirdBrain Hummingbird Classroom Solution (w/o micro:bits) transforms educational environments into centers of creativity and technological exploration. Designed for students in grades 4 through 12. this comprehensive package facilitates the teaching of robotics. engineering. and coding to groups of 20 to 30 students. The solution includes modular kits that allow students to construct robots and animatronics. fostering hands-on learning and innovation. Each pair of students can engage in three distinct projects. providing up to 15 classroom sessions of pre-designed content. The kits are versatile. enabling the creation of various projects such as animating poems. modeling human limbs. building autonomous rovers. or designing pinball machines. using simple materials like cardboard and hot glue.

The classroom solution is equipped with a storage system to keep materials organized and accessible. ensuring that projects can be stored and transported with ease. The inclusion of rechargeable power banks and USB charging hubs eliminates the need for disposable batteries. promoting sustainability and convenience. The solution is designed to be reusable. allowing for continuous use across different projects and sessions.

The Hummingbird Classroom Solution is compatible with a wide range of devices. including laptops and most tablets. and supports both block-based and text-based programming environments such as MakeCode. Python. and Java. This compatibility ensures that students can easily integrate the kits into their existing technological infrastructure.
