The Rover Robotics 2WD Pro Mobile Robotics Platform accelerates your projects with a rugged. open source robot platform that has been proven in the field with thousands of public safety deployments. The 2WD option trades the 4WD tracks for front wheel drive and rear casters. enabling it to reach speeds up to 8mph and a range of 8 miles. Additionally. it is possible to add additional electronics and accessories such as cameras. lidar. and a charging dock.

The Rover Basic SDK provides motor control. data feedback. charging. and power distribution through a UART serial interface. It uses a standard milspec battery BB2590 with up to 19.8 Ah capacity. You can easily build your own custom payloads and software. Internal charging circuitry makes it possible to add a charging dock for automatic charging. eliminating the need to ever remove the battery.
